The admin panel your servers deserve
By default the metrics above are calculated for all monitored hosts. You can configure specific tags in the Overview settings popup to display the metrics for a set of hosts e. You may see zero numbers if some metrics are not being gathered. The upper left block displays a total score that reflects your web app performance.
The Application Health Score AHS is an Apdex-like numerical measure that can be used to estimate the quality of experience for your web application. AHS is a product of 3 derivative service level indicators SLI — percentage of successful requests, percentage of "timely" requests, and agent availability. Each individual SLI in this formula can be turned on or off. By default only the percentage of successful requests is on. If the request time is above T1 and below T2, a "satisfaction ratio" is calculated accordingly.
Requests above T2 are considered totally unsatisfying. Here you can see an overview of the key metric stats, such as CPU, memory, and disk usage for all of your systems.
If you click on a system on the left, the graphs will change to reflect the metrics for the selected system. Some graphs have an additional selector. You can also copy a predefined graph to a custom dashboard by focusing on the graph and clicking on the arrow in the top right corner.
Check the Metrics and Metadata section below to learn more about the displayed metrics. From the top menu bar, you can always open the inventory of the systems that are being monitored. When the agent is properly installed on a new system and reporting, it's automatically visible in the system index on the left and in the Inventory.
The Inventory allows you to check the status of all systems at a glance. It also provides a quick overview of the key metrics. In the rightmost column of the Inventory you will also find the settings and the metadata viewer icons.
If you need to remove an object from the monitoring, use the "trash" icon. You can apply sorting, search, and filters to the Inventory to quickly find the system in question.

Ajenti isn't only for servers! We needed a simple-yet-powerful interface for administration of our free and open source turn-key web kiosk, Sanickiosk. Sanickiosk is used in public and business settings to provide open or filtered web browsing and digital signage.
We required a solution that allowed for off-site administration of our kiosks, and considered Ajenti as well as several other admin panels. Sanickiosk uses a two-tier system for administration, with sysadmins having access to operating system and network settings and kiosk administrators many with minimal technical knowledge having only the ability to alter kiosk configuration settings such as the browser homepage and screensavers. With assistance from Ajenti's helpful and knowledgable team we were able to design our own custom plugins for Ajenti, providing our non-technical users with a simplified and unintimidating user interface while still providing our power users an interface containing the tools they require.
No other admin panel we considered was as flexible. We are pleased to utilize such an amazing product like Ajenti in such a fresh and radical new way. You can use Dashboard to deploy containerized applications to a Kubernetes cluster, troubleshoot your containerized application, and manage the cluster resources. You can use Dashboard to get an overview of applications running on your cluster, as well as for creating or modifying individual Kubernetes resources such as Deployments, Jobs, DaemonSets, etc.
For example, you can scale a Deployment, initiate a rolling update, restart a pod or deploy new applications using a deploy wizard. Dashboard also provides information on the state of Kubernetes resources in your cluster and on any errors that may have occurred.
Currently, Dashboard only supports logging in with a Bearer Token. To create a token for this demo, you can follow our guide on creating a sample user. The UI can only be accessed from the machine where the command is executed. See kubectl proxy --help for more options.

Dashboard lets you create and deploy a containerized application as a Deployment and optional Service with a simple wizard. The application name must be unique within the selected Kubernetes namespace.
It must start with a lowercase character, and end with a lowercase character or a number, and contain only lowercase letters, numbers and dashes. It is limited to 24 characters. Leading and trailing spaces are ignored. The container image specification must end with a colon. Number of pods mandatory : The target number of Pods you want your application to be deployed in.
The value must be a positive integer. A Deployment will be created to maintain the desired number of Pods across your cluster. Irrespective of the Service type, if you choose to create a Service and your container listens on a port incomingyou need to specify two ports.
The Service will be created mapping the port incoming to the target port seen by the container. This Service will route to your deployed Pods. The internal DNS name for this Service will be the value you specified as application name above. If needed, you can expand the Advanced options section where you can specify more settings:.
Labels : Default labels to be used for your application are application name and version. You can specify additional labels to be applied to the Deployment, Service if anyand Pods, such as release, environment, tier, partition, and release track.
Dashboard offers all available namespaces in a dropdown list, and allows you to create a new namespace. The namespace name may contain a maximum of 63 alphanumeric characters and dashes - but can not contain capital letters. Namespace names should not consist of only numbers. If the name is set as a number, such as 10, the pod will be put in the default namespace.
